On this date in 1778, the Continental Congress passed the first budget of the United States of America. I dare say the members of the Continental Congress would be horrified by the way our country’s budget is bleeding money these days.

    At the risk of annoying people, I really wish we’d stop throwing billions of dollars at other countries, and take care of our country for a change…. 😕
