On this date in 1920, the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified. It guaranteed women the right to vote.

    That’s why I make it a point to cast my vote in every election that I’m eligible for.

    Bet there are those out there regretting this. I, for one, am grateful for those who fought for our right to vote so long ago.
